Dear Friends,
The predecessor of “Donut Hive, the Donut Patisserie” was launched in April 2018. Our main goal today is to introduce to you our premium donuts of the highest quality which are much more than plain donuts.
In preparing our donuts, we paid particular attention to our carefully chosen high quality ingredients to offer you an exceptional flavour treat when enjoying our donuts.
We prepare our jams with the best quality fruit without preservatives, flavour enhancers, artificial colours, or GMO’s.
We opened our first store in April 2019 at Square One in Mississauga, our second store in the RBC Path in downtown Toronto. At the same time, our
POPUP stores opened at Pusateri’s downtown, Fifth Avenue in the Bay-Saks Fifth Avenue location and at Pusateri’s Bayview Village.
In August 2019 Yorkdale Mall offered us a rental unit having noted our successes. By March 15th, 2020, we were ready to welcome our customers at our third store at Yorkdale.
Unfortunately, we all know what else has happened in the spring of 2020, so our flagship store in Yorkdale Mall did not have the chance to steal the hearts of local donut lovers up until November, 2021.
The Pandemic thought us many lessons, but we kept our eyes and focus on our wider community and on our team, and our employees. In response to the Pandemic, in April 2020 we introduced our home delivery service, where our staff took part in the delivery process, which meant that with your support we were able to continue their employment, and at the same time, for every donut sold we donated another one to frontline workers.
