Due to her close connection in the field, she was able to connect with Holland Bloorview and offered our square donuts as a way of bringing smiles to healthcare workers in this much needed, and very busy Hospital. Holland Bloorview's health heroes received 200 of our individually wrapped gourmet donuts, and in return we were greeted with the warmest smiles.

Scarborough Centenary - April 24th
An amazing young lady reach out to us to order a batch of donuts. Then she mentioned SHN Centenary has been working extremely hard and could use a little boost of energy.
That's all we needed to hear! We headed over with 200 of our individually packed donuts and dropped them off at receiving. We were greeted by the most wonderful smiles. Thank you SHN for all you do!
Here is SHN honouring their volunteers:
Our SHN workplace family would not be complete without our team of volunteers, who help us to provide exceptional care for patients and families across our health network.
For a first time, this National Volunteer Week (April 19 to 25), we are missing our volunteers’ smiling faces and friendly voices at our hospitals. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteers are staying at home to protect themselves, our frontline staff, and our patients. However, not only does the spirit and dedication of our volunteers still echo through our hospital lobbies, halls, clinics, and units — many of our volunteers continue to contribute from their homes through initiatives such as virtual pre-screening for our hemodialysis program, and crafting, sewing, and donating fabric supplies for staff.

Toronto Western Hospital - April 20th
The nurses and reception staff welcomed us with open arms at University Health Network's Western. UHN is Canada’s largest research hospital and an international source for discovery, education and patient care.
More than 50 shifts were covered by staff from UHN this past weekend as they went to work at the Rekai Centres, two long-term care facilities in downtown Toronto hit hard by a COVID-19 outbreak.
Nurses, physicians, support staff and members of the UHN leadership team were all on hand to provide care and comfort to the residents of Rekai and to help the staff of the centres as they care for 276 residents at the two facilities.
"We are so grateful for the support, encouragement and skill of the people at UHN who chose to come and help us through this outbreak," says Susan Graham-Nutter, CEO of Rekai Centres. "Many of our staff became ill, others chose not to come in and we were facing an almost impossible situation.
"Our residents are our family and to see them so ill without appropriate support was heartbreaking. What seemed impossible turned into something I'll never forget as I saw the willingness of others to come, help, take on all tasks, and embrace the needs of our patients.
"Thank you can never be enough."

We dropped over 200 delicious square shaped donuts off filled and topped with premium ingredients. Selection ranged from Boston Cream to Blueberry Cheesecake donuts.

We surprised these hospital workers with another massive batch of individually wrapped, freshly prepared gourmet square donuts.
Sophie (pictured here) met front reception, and they got distributed throughout the different floors. We heard that 2L section got especially lucky!
Here is a little note from one of the nurses:
"Thank you for the amazing donuts. This made our day! With love, from the 2 L surgery team"
